This is an early 19th c. antique helmet form Chinese Export porcelain cream pitcher, this Western form being derived from 18th c. silver shapes; exceptionally moulded with bamboo form handle, slender outline and graceful curved rim highlighted by moulded ribbed detail above the pedestal base; excellent hand painted polychrome details in a nontypical pattern of a berry and leaf meander rim design, flower basket and leaf and berry border on pedestal base; Condition: tight hairline and small flake at rim
