Pair of Vintage Hand Embroidered Pillow Cases with Flowers Pair of vintage white pillowcases measuring about 20 inches by 29 inches. Hand embroidered in cross stitch are a red poppy flower flanked on both sides by blue flowers and green leaves. They are edged in white hand crocheted lace. In good condition. Some discoloration.  

Vintage 1921 Pair of Unfinished Attached Pillow Cases What a find! A pair of pillowcases, unfinished and still attached as the day they were purchased. The case measures 20.5"x67" (detached will measure 20.5"33.5"). Hemstitched zig zag edge is completed on both sides, only one side as the extra fabric removed. Stamp design for embroidery still present, it is swags and bouquets of flowers. On the end where the extra fabric is intact reads "Embroider with Peri-Lusta - Crochet with Peri-Lusta - Copyrighted 1921 - Campbell, Metzger, & Jacobson".
There are a lot of spots and storage discolorations which should soak out, soaking could also possibly remove the stamping, so I leave the job up to you.

Vintage Small Pillow and Filet Crochet Pillowcase Small vintage pillow with pillowcase in Filet Crochet. Measures 4"x4", perfect for a doll. Pillow is a pale blue/green silk (some splitting). The case has a filet crochet design on one side. There is some discoloration.

It tells a story of how when things we used up, they was always another use for them. If this pillowcase looks odd it is because it was made from an old slip. Notice the bust coming forth and the beautiful pintucks, embroidery and eyelets down the center. It is in fair condition. There are stains and discolorations, but I feel in order for this piece to retain its integrity, it should be left unwashed.
