This early celluloid doll was made in Japan and has the imprint on the back with a logo of a bell with a T inside. He is a black man in a tuxedo with a cane and top hat holding a bouquet of flowers. Looks like a bride groom. Condition of the celluloid is excellent with only one small dent in the heel of one foot. There is a chip on the paint of his face. These celluloid dolls were popular in the 1920's. He measures 7.5 inches tall. |
