What a cute figural cigarette holder. This elephant is colorfully hand painted. It has holes for the cigarettes on each side and a open dish on top for holding the ashes. The markings are starting to wear off so not sure where it was made but it looks like a typical early Japan item. The elephant measures 4.25 inches tall and 5 inches long.
