This quart Silverwoods Dairy milk bottle is a cream top version. It includes an original, not reproduction cream top spoon. The silkscreen label Silverwood's Cream Top is in vibrant red and is in excellent condition with no chips or wear. The bottle measures 10 inches tall and is in exellent condition. The base is marked 1953. The spoon is marked Cream Top with 2 patent dates Sep 2nd 1924 and Mar 3rd 1925. The spoon has some minor surface rust at the base of spoon as shown in photo's. Cream Top originated from the Cream Top Bottle Corp of Albany NY in 1924. Willards Cream Top Dairy of Toronto owned the distribution rights for Ontario until it was sold to Silverwood Dairy in 1929. This is a great collector piece!
