Click for more detail... C3154	Kromex Aluminum Canister Set This is a Kromex set of four black top canisters. There are surface scratches as you'd expect, but they're very minor. The canisters are shiny. The lettering on the lids is original and in very good shape. The lettering may have been touched up somewhere along the way. There is a tiny nick on the sugar lid. There are a few dings to the metal but very tiny and hardly noticeable. The insides are clean and I see no rust of any kind. On a scale of 1-10, I'd definitely give this set a 9. They are 8", 7", 6" &5" tall. It's hard to find a set in condition this good. These aluminum canisters go great with the stainless steel look, and nothing says retro like Kromex. The grease can does have the strainer. The can is 4.5 inches wide and 5 inches tall. The shakers are 2 inches wide and 3.75 inches tall. There is wear to the metal as seen in the pictures. The lids all fit snugly. There are no cracks in the shaker lids. You might find a ding or two but overall it's in very good shape. Click for more detail... C3477	West Bend Grease Can This is a grease can made by the West Bend CO. in West Bend, Wisconsin in the 1960's. Height is 5.25" and diameter is 4.5". It has the metal strainer. There are some minor scratches, but overall this is in great condition. The graphics are intact which is really hard to find. The top may have been touched up with some black gloss spray paint because it looks perfect. This originally went with a set of four cannisters and a range set. Collectors are hot on the trail for West Bend pieces in good condition, and especially the grease cans with strainers because they are so hard to find. These look unused and I believe them to be New Old Stock. They have black plastic tops that have no chips or cracks. The holes in the shakers are all good. They stand 4" tall. The aluminum is in good shape with very little wear.The paint looks to be intact. Aluminum shakers are becoming more and more desirable now and they're hard to find in good condition. Click for more detail... C2924	Kromex Aqua Aluminum Spice Set This is a set of eight spice containers and rack that is accented in aqua and made by Kromex. The shakers are named on the lids. They read Cinnamon, Cayenne, Mustard, Allspice, Paprika, Ginger, Cloves, and Nutmeg. Each shaker measures 4.25" tall. They all have metal inserts with holes. The rack measures 10"x3"x5".25". There is very little scratching and all the inserts are present. The lettering is unfaded and is the original as far as I know. The only flaw I can find are two teensy chips on the corners of the top of the allspice shaker. I've tried to show it in the pictures. I don't see any dents or dings to the metal. There is some wear to the rack from the spice tins sitting there for many years. It can sit on a counter or be mounted on the wall. It is marked Kromex. I haven't seen one this good in a very long time. This Kromex aqua spice set is very sought after by aluminum and kitchen collectors; and it would look so great in a retro kitchen.
