Strainers, Sieves, and Refrigerator Boxes at Mama's Treasures

Blue and White Enamel Strainer This is a blue and white handled enamel strainer. It looks like a pan but has a strainer in the bottom. It does have a small hole in it as seen in the pictures. The top diameter is 6.25" and the bottom diameter is 4.5". If hung on a wall it would be 11.25" from end to end. It's a great primitive piece and the perfect accent for a cabin or country kitchen.

There is almost no wear to the enamel, but there are some light scratches on the inside. No chips or cracks are noted on the glass top which has the name Becoware on it. Vintage Aluminum Ricer with Pestle This is an old aluminum ricer on it's own stand with the original masher. These are sometimes called applesauce makers or tomato ricers. I know a lot of people still use them at canning time. It stands 9.5" tall and is a bit smaller than most. It makes a great display piece in a country kitchen. It has some minor metal wear as seen in the pictures but nothing too obvious or that would hinder it's function. Or maybe you need this aluminum ricer for something that needs mashing.
