My mother had this set and used it daily. It's in very good codition with no crazing or discoloration. The only flaw is a tiny flake off the very bottom of the bowl. This does not show when it's displayed. You almost never find this bowl in such good condition. If you've been wanting one, here's your chance to take it home. I don't know the exact age or maker, but it is older. The color is good with minimal scratching. There is only minor wear to the gold. There appears to be some pitting in the bottom but that's due to the firing process at the time and not unusual in bowls of this age. No chips or cracks are noted. My mama used to tell me about rich young ladies who handpainted china for their hope chests and to give as gifts.
