Click for more detail... C2312	Vintage Kwik Kup Coffee Maker This is an one cup coffee maker marked Cafex and made by the Waterford Products Corporation in Chicago, Illinois. It is pre zipcode and I believe it dates back to the 1950s. You would sit it on a cup, put a tablespoon of coffee in the metal part, pour in a cup of water, and wait for the coffee to drip through. No chips or cracks to the red plastic and the metal has very little wear. It was quite the idea for it's time. It still works and would be a great addition to your retro kitchen family. It will make coffee but how good the coffee is I don't know. I don't drink it so I'm no judge. It's being sold "as found" and is not returnable. Most people buy these for decoration or to make lamps out of them. They really do make a cool looking lamp.
