Circa: 1960 Condition: Used Size: Width: 8-10 inches, Height: 6-7 inches Type: Kitchen Collectibles Manufacturer: Unknown
This is a set of two hotpads in the original package that figure a Pilot House on at least one of them. I didn't want to open the package and I can't tell for sure if it's on the larger one. The largest measures 10 inches wide and 7 inches tall, and the smaller one is 8 inches wide and 6 inches tall. They are silver in color and have not been used. I believe this was probably sold as a souvenir. The picture is a Pilot House which was salvaged from the wreck of the steamer S>S> Altidick that went aground on Keweenaw point on December 8, 1927. This is a landmark of Copper Harbor. Copper Harbor is on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This set of vintage hotpads would make a perfect gift for yourself or someone you know. |
