Hand blown Victorian vase that is approximately 6.75 inches tall, base 2.37 inches in diameter and the opening is 1.62 inches in diameter. It has a wonderful finish that we can only describe as a soft frosted satin. This vase also has a wonderful enameled and gold motif that reminds me of stain glass fans with ribbons that have been hand painted, almost an art deco style. The white enamel out line is raised throughout the vase. The decoration is about 90% intact; the soft frosted satin is in very good condition with only minor wear. There is a chip flake on the rim as shown that is approximately .25 of an inch by .12 of an inch along with some inclusion bubbles that you find in hand blown glass and there is a ground and polish pontil. |
