Unique Czechoslovakian gray luster urn pottery vase that has black trim around the upper rim and on one side of the handles. It is approximately 5.50 inches tall and does have the early red stamp Made in Czecho-slovakia mark on the bottom. It has a wonderful luster to the glaze, on a bottom edge there is a glaze skip as shown, there is some black glaze that got on the luster as shown, and a bit of extra clay fired on the body also shown in the pictures. You can find a picture of this vase in Tan luster in Made in Czechoslovakia Book 2 by Ruth Forsythe. It is a cute little vase that could be used for many purposes. |
