This EAPG pickle Dish was produced in the pattern known as Barred Forget-Me-Not by Canton Glass circa 1883. It is approximately 9.25 inches long, 4.50 inches at the widest point and 1.25 inches tall and in really good condition with no nicks, chips, cracks or sickness. As with glass manufactured during this time period it has a couple of rough spots on the mold lines and a couple pinpoint inclusion bubbles. The appearance of this pickle dish suggests that it was a cabinet piece as there are no scratch marks. |
