Circa: 1880s Manufacturer: Bohemian
Beautiful set of Bohemian Pinched Perfume Bottles from the late 1880s from an unknown maker. This set is a pinched bottle with the floral fauna design of raised enamel with gold gild inside the design and the stopper has a gold gild outlining the geometric triangular cut. They are approximately 4.50 inches tall with the stopper in and 3.62 inches without the stopper. Being hand blown, they are not perfect in shape, and are off center depending which side you are looking from. One bottle the 8 on the bottom has a chip out of it as shown in the pictures and two other flat like ones along with the stopper that has a small flat chip. The gold gild to the top and stopper show lots of wear, but the rest of the bottle has little wear. Both the bottom and stopper are marked 8.
Second bottle has a mark of 19 on both the bottom of the bottle and stopper, as like the other bottle it isn’t straight either. There are a couple of small nicks around the top, to small to focus on because of the gold gild around the top. The stopper does have a lot of wear to the gold gild like the other bottle. This bottle has a very slight wobble to it, with the design on the bottle is in good condition with little wear to the enamel or gild. Both the bottom and the stopper are marked 19. Also there is slight table wear to the bottom of both the bottles, and the glass of both bottles are bright and reflective and no sickness to either bottles.
