Large Sculptured Fruit tidbit plate without its handle by Stangl. It measures approximately 10 1/8". It is marked on the bottom "Hand Painted Stangl ® ?? NJ Since 1805 Sculptured Fruit", numbered "3" above and to the right of the previously described mark. Below it is marked "The United States Potters Association Glaze tested and approved". The plate has no chips or cracks but there is slight use wear.
The Sculptured fruit pattern was introduced in 1966 and its shape style is #5179. |
