Charlotte Rhead Bursley Ware TL43 Trinket Box Stunning Charlotte Rhead Trinket Box in pattern number TL43 Wind Tossed Peony.
Beautiful Tubelined and hand painted decoration of Deep Blue and Mauve shades against a Marbled plain ground depict a Peony flower and spilling seeds into the wind. Simply stunning!!

CONDITION:
There is a tiny, possibly from manufacture blemish to the inside top edge of the box which I have shown in the photos. Other than this the box and the lid are in excellent condition and the colours are strong and vibrant and a really delight.
Marked with the Bursley ware stamp for c1940s this is a really collectable and beautiful item from one of our most renowned, Staffordshire Art Pottery and Art Deco period designers.

Charlotte Rhead Bursley Ware TL14 Cream and Sugar Bowl Charlotte Rhead Cream Jug and Sugar Bowl from Bursley Ware in pattern number TL14.
More often seen on Vases and the likes this is a relatively unusual and not often seen set from Charlottes time at the H.J Wood factory from 1941 until her death in 1947.
Tubelined and hand painted the pattern is a profusion of stylised Flora in a bold array of colours and is offered in EXCELLENT condition with No cracks or chips and only the normally associated age crazing of pieces of this type and era. There is a tiny amount of discolouration to the INSIDE of the Cream Jug which is mentioned for accuracy and does nothing to detract from the displaying of the piece.
An interesting and unusual set from one of the Staffordshire regions most celebrated and collected designers from the Art Deco period.

The item was produced at the Crown Ducal factory, in the late 1920s, early 1930s, and carries the Rhead signature.

Dating from the 1940s the items are offered in excellent condition and free of chips cracks and any sign of wear to the pattern. Identical in size and style the items have a diameter of 3.1/2 inches and are almost 1 inch in depth.
Not unusually for small items they only carry the Made in England mark and TL43 pattern number but as shown in the photos they accompany a fully marked Trinket Box which is available elsewhere on store.

The pitcher was produced at the Bursley Ware Factory (H. J. Woods) during the late 1930s, early 1940's.

Standing almost 9.00 inches tall, 5.00 inches at the widest point, the impressive jug is offered in EXCELLENT condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.

Charlotte Rhead Handled Persian Rose Vase Crown Ducal A Wonderful example of Charlotte Rhead Pottery in the form of a twin handled Vase or Planter in the Persian Rose design.

The pot stands 5.50 inches tall but is an impressive 9.00 inches when measured across the tips of the handles.
The tubelined design is one of the most colourful of Charlotte's works and features Persian style Roses in Various colours, set aginst a pale ground, splendid green foliage, and wonderful mustard yellow trims. Wonderful colours from the Art Deco period.

The item is in immaculate, clean condition, appears to have never been used, and dates to the 1930s. The appropriate Crown Ducal Backstamp and Tublined Rhead signature are present.
