The pattern features hand painted Violets and foliage on top of a black, transfer design and white ground.

Carrying the Shelley 1910-25 backstamp, the item is offered in excellent condition, with only very little signs of ageing relevant to age.

The pattern is Bridal Rose,sometimes called Rose Sprays, a Rosebud Chintz design, against a white ground and with Pastel Pink Trims.

Shelley Dainty Flower Handle Trio Delightful Shelley Dainty Flower handled Trio. Excellent condition with no chips cracks etc and a lovely Shelley PING.
To be hyper-critical there is a very fine, singular crazing line inside the base of the cup which DOES NOT show on the outside and, as mentioned above, the cup RINGS LIKE A BELL. I am unable to offer a close up photo as it is extremely difficult to spot.

Shelley Dainty Rose Pansy and Forget-me-not Coffee Set A stunning and complete coffee set, six places, in the Rose Pansy and Forget-me-not, RPFMN, light chintz design.

The set is in the ever popular Dainty shape, first produced in the 1890s, and used right through to the factory's closure in 1966. This particular set probably dates from 1940-50s.

Shelley Dainty Rose, Pansy, Forget-me-not Tea for Two A simply remarkable, Dainty Shape, Tea for Two set from Shelley China in the Rose, Pansy and Forget-me-not light Chintz design finished with Pastel Blue Trims.

The set, as I understand, comprises of the correct items to form a proper Tea for Two set and includes:
1 - Two cup Teapot.
2 - Tea size cups and saucers.
1 - Demi-size Milk/Cream Jug and Sugar Bowl.
1 - Extremely rare Lemon Plate of just 4 inches diameter.

All the pieces are in Excellent, unused condition and have been cabinet kept all their life having been originally bought as a Wedding present. There are NO cracks, chips, restoration or signs of wear to any pieces and even a spout protector for the teapot is available and will be included, although not shown in the photographs.

Shelley Sunrise and Tall Trees Stunning Tea for Two Absolutely stunning Shelley Queen Anne Shape Tea for Two set consisting of Teapot, Two Trios and milk jug and sugar bowl.
The pattern is the ever popular 11678 Sunrise and Tall Trees and is a superb Art Deco design introduced in 1929 and featuring a vibrant, Hand painted, egg yellow sun set against Black and wonderfully contrasting Tall trees and a Golden, English, Gated field. Probably the most recogniseable and striking pattern of this particularly Shelley era.
All pieces are in wonderful condition having NO chips, cracks or damage of any kind and each piece shows absolutely no sign of wear to any of the patterns. The Teapot is totally stain free and I feel sure that the whole set has been cabinet kept all it's life.
A truly remarkable set for the any Shelley or Art Deco collector.

Shelley Queen Anne Crabtree Art Deco Trio Fabulous Shelley Queen Anne Shape Trio in the Crabtree design no 11651 introduced in 1929. Wonderful Art Deco design of a styilised tree Laden with fruits heavily enammelled in Blue, orange and green and finished with wonderful green trims to the white fine china. Colourful Poppies also adorn smaller panels of the piece as seen in the photos. The trio is in excellent condition with NO cracks, chips and rings true. Delightful piece for the collector.

Shelley Queen Anne Cottage 2 COMPORT Must admit I have never come across one of these before!!
Stunning Shelley All pottery Comport or Centrepiece in the Queen Anne Shape and bearing the delightful Cottage 2 pattern from the Art Deco years.
The pattern number is 11836 and was first introduced in 1931 and the item also bears the RD No.742953 which dates to 1931 and so it's afe to assume that the item is most likely an early 1930s piece.
Brown transferware Tall trees and Cottage are supplemented with hand painted and enamelled features including Coral Red Poppies and Hollyhocks. I particular like the Garden Path and Gate leading up to the Thatched cottage and there is a real, English Country Garden feel. A green trim finishes the border of the dish and the Queen Anne Partitioned Pedestal.
The item has survived in rather remarkable condition. It is totally free of Cracks and chips and the pattern is strong and vibrant against the creamish glaze. The green trims also appear almost entirely intact and only a couple of very minor usage marks can be seen when held against the light and I only mention them for accuracy.
A very unusual and cllectable piece form one of Staffordshire's most respected factories.

Shelley Queen Anne Art Deco Tea Set Autumn Leaves A quite exceptional, 4 place, Shelley Queen Anne shape Tea Set in the Autumn Leaves pattern no.11724 introduced in 1930.
A similar set can be seen in the colour plates of Susan Hill's excellent publication, The Shelley Style.
