Moorcroft Large Pansy Vase Signed William Moorcroft A quite breathtaking and Large, Moorcroft Vase in the Pansy design.

Dating from the 1920s the Vase stands an impressive 8.00 inches in height and has a diameter of 5.00inches at the widest point of the shoulder. Very substantial indeed and I have pictured the item with a couple of other Moorcroft items to give an idea of scale.

Seven Large Pansies are decorated around the whole circumference of the Vase shading from Pink/Red to Mauve/Purple and varius leaves and buds in shades of Green and Yellow are evident. This is set aginst a very deep, rich, Cobalt Blue background glaze so typically Moorcroft.

The Vase is in incredible condition having NO cracks, chips, damage or restoration of any kind. The decoration is beatifully intact and, although I've checked several times, I am unable to find even any signs of the usual crazing.....BREATHTAKING!!

The Item carries the appropriate Moorcroft Impressed marks for the period as well as the Full, William Moorcroft script signature in Green.

Maximum Air Mail shipping of $60.00 dependant on destination.
This item will ONLY be shipped fully insured and at a cost of a further $10.00.

Click for more detail...
42607mlbl

William Moorcroft Signed Berries and Leaves Lamp Base A wonderful piece of Art Pottery from William Moorcroft in the Berries and Leaves design introduced in 1928.
Complete with Fittings for Bulb and Shade, this impressive Lamp Base stands a full 23 inches in height with the Pottery element of the lamp some 10.1/2 inches tall and having a maximum width of around 6 inches.
The item is mounted on the original Brass Base which is also finely decorated and almost 2 inches in height.
The pattern, also known as Autumn Leaves, is of tubelined Leaves in Autumnal hues and complimented by richly coloured seasonal Berries in shades of Deep Purple and Red.
With NO cracks, chips or restoration the item is offered in excellent condition and only mild crazing is eveident as would normally be associated with an item of this age.
To be completely accurate there is a small, underglaze speck on the top of the lamp which is a salt sized grain of extra clay from the firing process and does nothing to detract from a wonderful, museum quality item from one of Staffordshire's most renowned Potters.
The item has the William Moorcroft facsimile backstamp, A "Potter to Her majesty The Queen" paper label AND the hand written William Moorcroft signature initials! A photograph of these is available on request!

PLEASE NOTE: The item is wired with what appear to be United States fittings. Having said that, I have not tested this item and would strongly recommend it is checked over before use.

Shipping - This is a CONSIDERABLY LARGE item and would need to be packaged securely. I would estimate shipping to be between $60.00-80.00 dependant on destination.
This item would also only be shipped FULLY INSURED which could cost a further $15.00-20.00.
