Aynsley Butterfly Handle Tulip Shape Cup and Saucer Stunning and Beautiful, c1930, Aynsley Cup and saucer with a figural Butterfly handle.

The item is in the Tulip Shape and brilliant white China is Highlighted in a Sky Blue shade with an extremely delicate and Hand Painted Butterfly for a handle.

These items were produced during the Art Deco years of the 1930s and, as such, are scarce and much sought after by collectors.

The item is backstamped with the relevant Aynsley stamp and registered design numbers for the period.

Condition:
Although the item appears and displays perfectly as seen in the photos. There is in fact a tiny, professionally restored area of around 2 mm at the gilded rim of the opening. The area is shown in one of the photographs and is almost undetectable without very close inspection.
As such, this item is offered at something like half the value it would normally command and is an ideal opportunity to obtain an extremely collectable example at a relatively modest price.
