A Fabulous, Antique piece of Staffordshire pottery from Brown, Westhead & Moore who subsequently became Cauldon & Royal Cauldon China. The piece has the Diamond registration Mark for 1877 and so is a wonderful piece of history. The pattern feaatures what appear to be Swallows amidst various foliage and large Stylised Flower Heads. There are feint signs that the edges were originally gilded but these have all but disappeared with the passage of time. No signs of damage to a rare or even possibly UNIQUE item. |
