Manufacturer: Colclough & Co - Royal Stanley Royal Stanley Jacobean Ware was produced by Colclough & Co from my home town of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. This particular vase carries the backstamp for the period 1919-1928 and so the condition of this vase belies it's age.

| The ware was often described as "poor man's Moorcroft" due to it's rich cobalt glaze and hand painted fruits and floral designs and it's easy to see why. Jacobean ware is now highly collectable and sought after in it's own right and this impressive, almost 6.1/4" tall and 4" widest point Vase is a superb example in truly wonderful condition although for strict accuracy there are a few miniscule scratches to the pattern here and there. GORGEOUS. |
