The original Chung was a blue and White transfer pattern but this much rarer Red variety has most of the plainer background infilled with bold hand painted strokes to add a wonderful plash of colour against the Dark Blue designs.
Condition - The pot and lid are in Excellent condition with no cracks and chips. There is, however, a small professional repair to a 4mmm surface chip to the spout and I have shown a close up of the area in one of the photos. To all intents and puposes this repair is very professionally done and does not show but I mention it for accuracy.
The item stands at approximately 7 inches tall to the tip of the spout and as such is one of the larger sizes of the uniquely styled Cosy Pot which was marketed as the Ultimate Tea or Coffee Pot because of the uniquely locking lid.
MAXIMUM Air Mail Shipping of $25.00-30.00 dependant on destination. Tracking and insurance for LOSS ONLY is available for a further $8.00. |
