Charlotte Rhead Cream Jug and Sugar Bowl from Bursley Ware in pattern number TL14.
More often seen on Vases and the likes this is a relatively unusual and not often seen set from Charlottes time at the H.J Wood factory from 1941 until her death in 1947.

Tubelined and hand painted the pattern is a profusion of stylised Flora in a bold array of colours and is offered in EXCELLENT condition with No cracks or chips and only the normally associated age crazing of pieces of this type and era. There is a tiny amount of discolouration to the INSIDE of the Cream Jug which is mentioned for accuracy and does nothing to detract from the displaying of the piece.
An interesting and unusual set from one of the Staffordshire regions most celebrated and collected designers from the Art Deco period.
