Absolutely stunning piece of Vintage Moorcroft in the glorious Orchid design.
The item is a Covered Candy Bowl according to literature although they are frequently referred to as Powder Bowls.
Tubelined and richly hand painted Orchids appear against a Cobalt Blue background to the exterior.

The interior is beautifully glazed in Cobalt Blue at the base but typically fading to a wonderful Teal green shade towards the rim.
Both the Bowl and cover are offered in EXCELLENT condition with only some very fine crazing to the lid and as to be expected from an item of this age.
Simply a STUNNING example from the Moorcroft factory.
