A quite breathtaking and Large, Moorcroft Vase in the Pansy design.
Dating from the 1920s the Vase stands an impressive 8.00 inches in height and has a diameter of 5.00inches at the widest point of the shoulder. Very substantial indeed and I have pictured the item with a couple of other Moorcroft items to give an idea of scale.
Seven Large Pansies are decorated around the whole circumference of the Vase shading from Pink/Red to Mauve/Purple and varius leaves and buds in shades of Green and Yellow are evident. This is set aginst a very deep, rich, Cobalt Blue background glaze so typically Moorcroft.
The Vase is in incredible condition having NO cracks, chips, damage or restoration of any kind.

The decoration is beatifully intact and, although I've checked several times, I am unable to find even any signs of the usual crazing.....BREATHTAKING!!
The Item carries the appropriate Moorcroft Impressed marks for the period as well as the Full, William Moorcroft script signature in Green.
