A quite exceptional, 4 place, Shelley Queen Anne shape Tea Set in the Autumn Leaves pattern no.11724 introduced in 1930.
A similar set can be seen in the colour plates of Susan Hill's excellent publication, The Shelley Style.
The set comprises of the following items:
1 - Large, 4 Cup sized Teapot.
1 - Rarely seen matching Teapot Trivet/Stand.
4 - Queen Anne Shape Trios (Cup, Saucer, Side Plate).
1 - Milk or Cream Jug.
1 - Sugar Bowl.
1 - Large, Tab handled Cake Plate.
CONDITION - All items are offered in excellent, pristine condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. The patternation on all pieces is excellent and there are little or no signs that this set has ever been out of a display cabinet, and certainly not since it was in my possession.
A truly remarkable set in SUPERB condition.
