A twin handled covered Jar, exceptionally decorated in the Pomegranate design, dating to the 1920's and fully signed by William Moorcroft.
The Jar stands some 6.50 inches tall, including the finial, and measures around 7.00 inches across the full extent of the handles.

Set against a cobalt ground, shading to ochre, the Jar is surrounded by a profusion of grapes and 5 Pomegranates, 2 of which are open.
The cover has a further three Pomegranates, all closed, and more grapes.
Both Jar and Cover are offered in Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or repair and exceptional decoration and fine tubing. only mild, clean crazing is evident.
