A Wonderful example of Charlotte Rhead Pottery in the form of a twin handled Vase or Planter in the Persian Rose design.
The pot stands 5.50 inches tall but is an impressive 9.00 inches when measured across the tips of the handles. The tubelined design is one of the most colourful of Charlotte's works and features Persian style Roses in Various colours, set aginst a pale ground, splendid green foliage, and wonderful mustard yellow trims. Wonderful colours from the Art Deco period.
The item is in immaculate, clean condition, appears to have never been used, and dates to the 1930s. The appropriate Crown Ducal Backstamp and Tublined Rhead signature are present.
