A beautiful and much sought after Hot Water Pot and Cover from Shelley, decorated in the Melody Chintz design.
The general condition of both pot and cover is clean and unused with no sign of usage and staining.
However, PLEASE NOTE, there is a small hairline crack to the internal locking element of the pot, which, with the lid in place, is not visible for display and is quite stable. I have photographed the area in close up.
Unfortunately, this is a common occurence with pots, as people tend to try and force the lids on or off. It does not detract from the display, or even the practicality of this item at all, but I have reduced the price of the item accordingley.
