EAPG: The Peoples Money: Bryan campaign mug
William Jennings Bryan was a presidential candidate in 1896. His battle cry was "The People’s Money." This mug is an election commemorative from 1896. Bryan lost that election to McKinley, and did not win when he ran again, losing twice to Teddy Roosevelt. But this mug lives on! Made by McKee & Bros., height is 3 ˝". There is no lid. Other than a minor flake to the inside rim & a few small spots of graying, which you really have to search for, the mug is in good condition. Referred to in many books, including Lindsey, Mordock’s Mugs, this is a great way for children to learn about history. I personally have had fun collecting historical glassware, & brushing up on past American events. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2 lbs. from 06068. #345
