Old French Pressed : Pineapple jar Blue Flinty Milk glass
This attractive hard to describe turquoise blue color milkglass jar with lid is made in the shape of a pineapple, & set on 4 scrolled feet. There appears to be a high lead content, although not pure flint, with a hefty weight; held to the light, the edges are translucent. Measures 7 ¼" tall. There is no major damage, but there is an area on the base rim where a fin from overfilling is knocked off; jar sits tippy on the table. The lid is not a good fit because of the overfilling; there are 3 small flakes underneath the top tips (really have to search for them). In French references this is attributed to Portieux-Vallereysthall, 19th century, most likely meant for use as a sugar container, and not commonly seen in this color! Pressed: Amberina Daisy & Button plate
*Mint condition square plate in the Daisy and Button pattern; amberina colored with warm amber center and deep ruby edges. 5 ½" square, plate has a flinty ring when tapped. Though this pattern and color dates back to Victorian era, with Hobbs being one of the earlier makers, I am unable to date this plate accurately. L.G.Wright is known to have made a similar color and plate. However, I can say that it is heavy, quite lovely and in superior condition. EAPG: Blue kero lamp Aquarius c 1880 *As is*
Wonderful baby blue kerosene lamp, in the pattern Aquarius by Adams, USG, c 1880-91. Photos do not do justice to the color, which is the typical blue of the period. This has the scallop base, & measures 9" tall to the top of the original collar. There is a large flat flake under the foot, which is most obvious when the lamp is turned over. The bowl & stem are epoxy attached. I was told by the previous owner that originally these were put together with plaster of paris. But the previous owner did not like the look of the white plaster, so he redid the attachment with epoxy. Close-up shows the area. The mold lines of the bowl & stem do not line up. This leads me to believe that at manufacture, the pieces were made separately, & attachment was meant to be by hot glass. With the bowl being much thinner & more delicate than the pedestal, plaster was resorted to when the hot attachment failed. Lamps are not my forte, so I leave the final judgement up to you. Shown in Thuro 1-315, & 2-120a. If buyer would like a new repro kero burner & a repro beaded edge chimney, I can include these for an additional $15. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #217

EAPG: 8 green pattern goblets: Bullseye & Daisy: *Mint Original
A super set of 8 green goblets in the pattern Bullseye and Daisy, made by US Glass # 15117, c 1909. Goblets are approximately 6" in height. I believe that these are ORIGINAL, since I compared them to several clear with stain old goblets which I have. No repros were made with stain, so this is a valid comparison. 1) Shape of bowl & thickness of the stem are consistent with original issue; 2) Weight is the same as original issue; and 3) These glow green under a UV light. According to Jenks in the Repros book, the glass is thicker in repros, AND the repros weigh more. These are not marked Redcliff. All are in *Mint condition, with no damage. A few small bubbles within the glass are consistent with age. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 13 lbs. (heavy/fragile) from 06068. #276

EAPG: Green w gold REWARD pattern butter *Rare
This Riverside Glass butter dish, c 1901, is mentioned in Gorham’s Riverside Glass book, but there is no photo in this color. Any item in this pattern in the color green is said to be "very rare." This dome butter dish is emerald green with gold trim. The trim is fairly good around the lower edge of the lid, but only about 30% remains on the finial & just a bit remains on the the beaded edges of the base. There are 2 flat edge base chips, shown in 2 views: from the top & the bottom; they are fairly close together. There is a chip on the inner rim of the base. The lid is without damage. Ht is 5 ½" x 7 ¼" wide at the base. This butter is extremely rare & has not been previously photographed for publication. Buyer to pay $25 for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, & insurance. #CCC

EAPG: very rare Cobalt BLUE Cord Drapery dish
Said to be "very rare" (Hilton, Greentown Glass), this cobalt blue flat dish is in the pattern Cord Drapery by Indiana Tumbler no. 350-Indiana, c 1901. Measurements are as follows: outer rim: 6 ½"; inner rim 4 ¾"; height 1 1/8". I could not identify anything exactly in this size in my references. But, of 2 butters mentioned, one is said to be 4 ¾", and I believe that this might be the small butter base, OR just a small dish! Condition is fair: there are numerous small chips on the edge scallops, 2 flakes on the top edge, 3 shallow flakes on the inner rim, stress lines & some light surface scratches in the middle base. No damage to the 6 little scallop feet or within the main areas of the design, & no cracks. Please look at photos…the damaged areas are not jump-out-at-you until you really start examining closely, simply because the color is so striking…almost a purple cobalt blue. It’s a super color which is slightly different between photos because of lighting. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2 lbs. from 06068. #257

EAPG: Chocolate MAJESTIC jelly compote *Rare
Made by McKee while in the National Glass combine, c 1897, this jelly compote is said to be the only item in the pattern Majestic made in chocolate glass (see Hilton pg. 116). Said to be "very rare," this is another item that has been documented, but not photographed in the most recent Greentown books due to its rarity! Not fire polished at the top, there are scattered small nips of the edge. The worst is shown in a close-up. It is otherwise in great condition; wafer construction also shown in a close-up. A rare little chocolate glass treasure, one of the few not made by Indiana Glass & Tumbler! Measures 5 ¼" wide x 5 3/8" tall. Buyer to pay $25 for shipping by USPS Priority, with Delivery Confirmation & insurance. #BBB

Once again I’ve got a familiar old pattern in an unusual size & shape, AND in good condition: a round based bowl with an 8 sided top edge in Delaware one of the states patterns by US Glass no. 15,065, aka Four Petal Flower, aka American Beauty, c 1899. This is larger than any bowl in several references which I have, measuring a whopping 9 ¼- 9 ¾" across sides & points respectively, with a height of 2 ¾". Beautiful emerald green with only slight traces of gold trim; no chips, cracks, etc. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #260
