EAPG: McKee’s Stars & Stripes cruet with underplate c 1898
Made by McKee & Bros., c 1898, all pieces in this pattern Stars and Stripes, are said to be "scarce." (McCain) These are machine-stamped Prescut, and are not Stars and Bars, a much more common pattern! Rather, the company advertised that these were pressed by hand, as a testament to the quality & care of manufacture! The cruet has a cut-and-shut base consistent with its age. Height with diamond design stopper is 6 7/8". There is no damage. The underplate is 8 ¼". It has several chips on the tips (under 2 areas), & 1 flake on the top round edge. Obviously it displays quite well with the cruet! See my other ad for cologne or tantalus bottles in the same pattern. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 4 lbs. from 06068. #428

EAPG: McKee pair of “Scarce” colognes *Mint
I don’t think you’ll see a pair of colognes like this anytime soon again. Made by McKee & Bros, c 1898, Stout states that the pattern, Stars and Stripes is "scarce." These are NOT the Stars and Bars pattern. They are not Prescut, although they are said to be hand-pressed! All pieces are said to be scarce since they were made for only a short period. This makes sense since machine pressing was already in full swing by this late period. Both colognes are *Mint condition with no damage; they look as though they were never used. The stoppers match, though one is a tad loser & one rides just a wee bit high in the opening. The stoppers are consistent with hand-pressing, showing a rough cut-off point at the tips! (see photos) Overall height with stoppers is 7 3/8"; without stopper 5 ¼". Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #332

EAPG: 9 3/4” Octagon topped Delaware bowl green w gold *Unlisted
Once again I’ve got a familiar old pattern in an unusual size & shape, AND in good condition: a round based bowl with an 8 sided top edge in Delaware one of the states patterns by US Glass no. 15,065, aka Four Petal Flower, aka American Beauty, c 1899. This is larger than any bowl in several references which I have, measuring a whopping 9 ¼- 9 ¾" across sides & points respectively, with a height of 2 ¾". Beautiful emerald green with only slight traces of gold trim; no chips, cracks, etc. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #260
