This Riverside Glass butter dish, c 1901, is mentioned in Gorham’s Riverside Glass book, but there is no photo in this color. Any item in this pattern in the color green is said to be "very rare." This dome butter dish is emerald green with gold trim. The trim is fairly good around the lower edge of the lid, but only about 30% remains on the finial & just a bit remains on the the beaded edges of the base. There are 2 flat edge base chips, shown in 2 views: from the top & the bottom; they are fairly close together. There is a chip on the inner rim of the base. The lid is without damage. Ht is 5 ½" x 7 ¼" wide at the base. This butter is extremely rare & has not been previously photographed for publication. Buyer to pay $25 for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, & insurance. #CCC
