Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), with various other items in smaller quantity: other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, etc. Victorian antique phonographs collected in the 1950-60’s are being added slowly; new, unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, some uniques, are added as time permits; older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted. See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert or a dealer. I’m just lucky enough to be able to handle a lot of “stuff.” ;) |

Unusual MINT condition heavy inkwell in the pressed pattern, Chandelier by O’Hara Glass, c 1888. The brown lid is marked on the top: "The Davis Automatic Inkstand, Pat. March 19th Oct 22nd 1889 Philadelphia." The top seems complete, but does not fit into the glass any longer…the rubber fitting area is dry & hard. But don’t be mistaken: I doubt that this is a marriage! See Jenks pg. 105 for description. Measures 3" wide x 2 1/4" tall. The Chandelier master salt, in contrast, is slightly smaller without the extra top clear band (see Unitt, Treasury, pg. 85 for photo of salt). Glass is in MINT condition, no chips to those nice points. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #247 |
