Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), with various other items in smaller quantity: other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, etc. Victorian antique phonographs collected in the 1950-60’s are being added slowly; new, unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, some uniques, are added as time permits; older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted. See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert or a dealer. I’m just lucky enough to be able to handle a lot of “stuff.” ;) |

Geo. Duncan & Sons butter with lid, c 1875, in the pressed pattern Mitchell, copper wheel engraved with a nicely executed leaf & berry design very similar to #75 (see Bredehoft’s Early Duncan pg 39, 42). Formed in 1874, the elegantly simple Mitchell was one of Geo. Duncan & Sons earliest patterns. Measures 6 1/8" wide x 5 7/8" tall. Near mint condition, with only one small nick on the foot! A super period piece, easily mixed-and-matched with other simple designs of the era. See my other classic, yet nicely engraved, footed sugar in the Panelled Ringed Stem pattern! Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 4 lbs. from 06068. #328 |
