Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), with various other items in smaller quantity: other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, etc. Victorian antique phonographs collected in the 1950-60’s are being added slowly; new, unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, some uniques, are added as time permits; older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted. See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert or a dealer. I’m just lucky enough to be able to handle a lot of “stuff.” ;) |

Said to be "fairly rare," Homestead pattern was made by Bryce Higbee, c 1885. This is a footed butter with a nice copper wheel engraving in the Fern & Leaf design of the era, in 3 repeats around the lid. Rather unusual for a butter, this footed dish of substantial weight, has flanged horizontal handles. Measures 8" tall x 7 ¾" across the handles. Each handle has a side flake; there are small chips on the finial & the sharp horizontal edge of the lid. Definitely not perfect, but then, not too common either! Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 6 lbs. from 06068. #330 |
