Shown in the Portieux catalog of 1894 and 1933, this pattern is called Houblon 6654 sucrier, Hops sugar. A beautiful artistic rendition of hops plants is woven around the base & lid; a typically well-done vintage Portieux piece with a sweet hops figural finial! Held up to the light, the edges are fierce fiery opalescent white glass. Height is 5 ½". There is a ¾" flat flake on the top edge of the base, not easy to see with the lid on due to the nature of the pattern; a few small nicks under the feet; a rough mold line inside the lid. Other areas of mold overfilling on the base are without damage. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 3 lbs. from 06068. #333
