Originally made by Northwood in custard, Inverted Fan & Feather, aka no. 607, was later made by Dugan Glass Co., c 1901-08. With beautiful subtle white opalescence, this fine bowl has 4 feet, & is probably a card receiver, based on its size: 6 7/8" wide x 3" tall. It glows yellow under UV light, with no obvious damage. Measure: 4 ½" wide x 2 ½" tall. There are more contemporary attempts at reproduction. But I believe that this is original & old, with the characteristic flat end beads as seen in the design of the originals (see photos). Please see my other ad for 2 smaller bowls in the same pattern. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 2 lbs. from 06068. #405 |
