Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), with various other items in smaller quantity: other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, etc. Victorian antique phonographs collected in the 1950-60’s are being added slowly; new, unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, some uniques, are added as time permits; older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted. See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert or a dealer. I’m just lucky enough to be able to handle a lot of “stuff.” ;) |

Made by McKee & Bros., c 1898, all pieces in this pattern Stars and Stripes, are said to be "scarce." (McCain) These are machine-stamped Prescut, and are not Stars and Bars, a much more common pattern! Rather, the company advertised that these were pressed by hand, as a testament to the quality & care of manufacture! The cruet has a cut-and-shut base consistent with its age. Height with diamond design stopper is 6 7/8". There is no damage. The underplate is 8 ¼". It has several chips on the tips (under 2 areas), & 1 flake on the top round edge. Obviously it displays quite well with the cruet! See my other ad for cologne or tantalus bottles in the same pattern. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 4 lbs. from 06068. #428 |
