Enjoy scrolling through EAPG (Early American Pattern/Pressed Glass), along with other vintage glass, pottery, silver, pewter, old coins, collector books, cylinder records, etc. New unused, precious and semi-precious gem jewelry, STERLING, gold-filled or plate, and older costume jewelry will be added as it is sorted.
See below (About us) for the big picture! I am strictly a collector, not an expert, and I don't buy large lots of material.
Glass (EAPG) is my focus, but I also inherited a lot of "stuff" from my parents, much of it collected in the 1950's-1960's (semi-antique), and much of their material dating back to the Victorian era. My father loved lots of "old" things, often recounting fond memories associated with them. It's taking a long time, but I will slowly add interesting items, along with photos and as much history as I know about them.
Only large items such as furniture, rugs, phonographs, etc., are not practical for this venue. However, if you are local to northwest CT, and can pick-up an item, feel free to email and inquire.
Thanks,
Ger |

Circa: 1970-ish Manufacturer: Valentino
These sunglasses, like new with no damage or scratches, are authentic Valentino designer sunglasses from approximately the 1970’s. They are polarized with a pleasant gray-green tint. They have a gold color metal frame with tortoise shell ear pieces, and a tortoise shell design along the front part of the metal frame. There is no mistaking their origin with the signature V in many places: along the sides and even under the clear plastic nose pieces. Numbers seen on one of the side pieces read: V350 906 58 (square) 14 135. They measure approximately 5 3/8 inches across the front frame; the side pieces are 4 7/8- 5 ½ inches depending on whether you measure from the frame or where the hinge is. The hinge is set back from the front by about 7/8". I wear glasses, but do not know the professional way to state the measurements. These unique beauties are in a hard protective felt-lined Coach eyeglass case, with the Coach brown cleaning cloth. I got these for myself and rarely if ever wore them. I put them away for safety and so they remained. No returns on this item please. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority, with free Delivery Confirmation, 1 1/2 lbs. from 06068. #565 |
