Book is in excellent condition with one small chip in front cover. Parnall's illustrations are wonderful and Baylor writes as she feels. Two other books by Baylor/Parnall also. Buy one or all three! Book is autographed by Baylor. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons New York 1978. Dust jacket has small tear on front and a couple of small gings on back but not noticeable. Two other Baylor books on this site if you are a collector! Priced seperately.

Again, Baylor has written in eloquence of the desert in which she lives. This book is NOT autographed but I have it in this category with the other two of Baylor's books which are autographed. If you are a Baylor or childrens book collector these would all be great additions!

THE HANDS OF CANTU 1st EDITION The Hands of Cantu by Tom Lea is a stated 1st Edition, 1964, published by Little, Brown and Co. It is also beautifully illustrated in 30 Chinese ink drawings, by the author, whose signature is on the title page.

Here is a story of the best horsemen in New Spain, the Spaniards and Indians.

The book has been kept in a Plasti-Kleer cover so the original paper dust jacket is in Excellent condition and the book pages are in Excellent 'unread' condition.

I have other Tom Lea books with all but one signed by the author. Please look at them on this site!

BRAVE BULLS REPRINT 1949 of 1st EDITION SIGNED The Brave Bulls is a story of a matador and the things he loves in life. Story was made into a film in 1951 starring Mel Ferrer and Anthony Quinn.

This is a First Edition reprinted in May 1949 and is inscribed by Tom Lea to my grandparents. Published by Little, Brown Boston it is filled with beautiful colored drawings done by the author. Condition is very good in fair dust jacket.

This book, signed by the author, is becoming RARE.
