China Clipper 1937 Trans-Pacific AirMail
TransPacific airmail service began November 22, 1935 with the date on the stamp. In 1937 two other China Clipper airmail stamps, without date, were issued. This is the 50 cent carmine issue.
Stamp is canceled and in excellent condition. From my dad's stamp collection, provenance is great! He started collecting stamps when he was a youngster, around 1940 or so.
