This print is from a drawing done by a field artist, and soldier, during the Civil War (1861-1865). It is called 'Delaware Indians Acting as Scouts for the Federal Army in the West'; and depicts Native Americans used for intelligence sources during the Civil War.
We will reproduce the piece, via computer-digitizing, in sepia tone to bring out the rich details of the artists sketch. All work is done with archival, acid-free and museum-quality products, ink and paper, in order to preserve the work for future generations. The print will come matted and will measure 16 X 20. It will also be shrink-wrapped.
We hope this print brings you many hours of enjoyment and we thank you for looking.
