A large cut glass vase with pears and leaves. Top notches are blunted (squared off) and there is a large sunburst in bottom. A very minute chip on one of the square-cuts, too small to be seen.
Vase is very heavy glass, 12 inches tall and narrows to bottom of 7 inches diameter. Glass has some small bubbles.
Probably from the Brilliant Period of cut glass (1880-1905). It's designs are elaborate with deep miter cuts. The pictures really do not do this beautiful piece justice! |
