This print is from a drawing done by a field artist, and soldier, during the Civil War (1861-1865). It is called 'Traveling in State-General Burnside on the Road from New Berne...' and depicts an unusual mode of travel during the Civil War. An interesting piece for the collector of Civil War art.
We will reproduce the piece, via computer digitizing, in sepia tone to bring out the rich details of the artists sketch. All work is done with archival, acid-free and museum-quality products, both ink and paper, in order to preserve the work for future generations.
The print is 16 X 20 and is matted.
We hope this print brings you many hours of enjoyment and thank you for looking.
