This small teacup and saucer is brilliantly colored with yellow around the edges and brown cross-like figures on both cup and saucer. The yellow on the cup is lighter than the saucer.

Maybe is was in the light more? May be child's cup or demi-tasse?
Small in size measuring 4 1/2 inches X 3 1/2 inches for the unusual shaped saucer and 2 1/2 inches cup diameter which is also the same unusual four-sided shape.
There are no markings, it is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. It looks quite old with some crazing in the glaze, but it is a really unique set. |
