This is a beautiful original salt and pepper shaker set from the 1940's-1960's. It is not the reproduction that I have seen currently on the Internet, but comes from an AZ estate collection.
It is made of pewter and glass. The grape bunches are real glass and the vines are pewter.

The top part of the vine unscrews from the bottom round section as does the pewter caps on the glass bunches.
It is heavy owing to the real metal. I have not polished the pewter and it has a nice patina. There is no marking that I could find.
This is a beautiful piece and a wonderful collectors item! |
