A five piece set of salt and pepper shakers, a sugar bowl(?) and green worm sitting on a green leafy tray. This set comes from an Arizona collection that dates from the 1940's-1960's.
Set includes two red apples (or tomatoes?) for the s&p's, the sugar is red and the worm and tray are green.

Size of tray is almost 7 inches long X 2 inches wide. Size of worm (which has been repaired) is about 3 inches long total.
All of the pieces, except the worm, are in excellent condition. Mark on bottom says Made in Occupied Japan with the mark of what looks like Hardnok Ware, although it can't be seen very well and I am guessing that is what it says.
This is a wonderful s&p collectors set from the 1940's timeframe. |
