This small miniature bottle dates to the 1870's-1890's and is a bottle that held opium. There is Chinese writing on the bottom.
The Chinese workers putting in the railroads used opium regularly and a few of these miniature bottles are found in areas where there were railroads as well as mining towns where the Chinese had food establishments and laundromats.
