A color postcard dating to about 1940's. Called 'Railway Bridges across the Rio Grande and the Great Customs Smelter at El Paso, Texas. Mt. Franklin rising in the background whose lofty peak reaches an altitude of nearly 8000 ft. being the highest point in Texas'. A small blemish out of the right bottom does not take away from the picture. The back was written on at some point in time however it has been erased. There is H.S.B. on the side and C.T. Photochrom, Chicago was the manufacturer, written in the middle.
This is a good vintage depiction of something that is no longer there.
